I used to fear the future,
how things would be resolved
what it would happen;

If I would be able to provide to my parents
as they always provided to me
If someone would love me the way I am
so common, so unlovable;

If I would love what I do
If I would do what I love
If my dreams would be put to the side
in favor of reality;

Now, what I do is to live one day at the time
If I want to change the future
I have to change the present
And it’s enough for me to know that
there’s always a blank page in this book called life.
